Join the California Historical Society and Bridge and Delta Publishing for a book talk and signing of Journey for Justice: The Life of Larry Itliong. This children’s book, written by the late and great historian Dawn Bohulano Mabalon, Ph.D. with Gayle Romasanta, and richly illustrated by Andre Sibayan, tells the story of often forgotten United Farm Workers co-founder, Larry Itliong, his migration to the United States, and his lifelong fight for a farmworkers union. This is the first book written about Larry Itliong.

Co-author Gayle Romasanta will talk about the book writing process, sign books and show a video of Dr. Mabalon talking about the importance of Larry Itliong's work. Books, merchandise will be available.
